Seated Bicep Curl Machine

What is it?
The Seated Bicep Curl Machine is an isolation exercise designed to strengthen and build the biceps using a controlled curling movement. The machine provides support and stability, allowing you to focus on contracting the biceps while reducing the ability to use momentum or other muscles to assist with the movement.

Primary Muscles Worked

  • Biceps

  • Brachialis (Upper Arm Muscle)

  • Forearms (Secondary)

How to Use
Adjust the seat height and arm pad so your upper arms sit comfortably against the pad and your elbows are aligned with the machine’s pivot point. Grip the handles with your palms facing upward and curl the handles towards your shoulders by contracting your biceps. Slowly lower the weight back down until your arms are nearly extended before repeating.

Coaching Tips

  • Keep your upper arms pressed firmly against the pad throughout the movement.

  • Avoid lifting your shoulders or leaning back to move the weight.

  • Focus on squeezing your biceps at the top of each repetition.

  • Lower the weight slowly to maintain tension on the muscle.

  • Use a full range of motion without letting the weight stack slam between repetitions.
