    Glute Kickback Machine

    What is it?
The Glute Kickback machine isolates the glute muscles by allowing you to extend one leg behind your body, helping to improve strength, muscle development, and hip extension.

    Primary Muscles Worked

    • Gluteus Maximus

    • Hamstrings

    • Gluteus Medius (Secondary)

    How to Use
Place one foot against the footplate and brace yourself using the handles. Extend your leg backwards by squeezing your glutes, then slowly return to the starting position under control.

    Coaching Tips

    • Keep your hips square throughout the movement.

    • Avoid arching your lower back.

    • Focus on squeezing your glutes rather than simply moving your leg.

    • Control the return phase.

    Lat Pulldown

    What is it?
The Lat Pulldown is one of the most effective exercises for developing upper back strength and building the muscles used in pull-ups.

    Primary Muscles Worked

    • Latissimus Dorsi

    • Rhomboids

    • Biceps

    • Rear Deltoids

    • Trapezius

    How to Use
Adjust the thigh pad so your legs are secure beneath it. Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder width and pull it towards the top of your chest while driving your elbows down. Slowly return to the starting position.

    Coaching Tips

    • Keep your chest lifted throughout the movement.

    • Pull with your elbows rather than your hands.

    • Avoid leaning too far backwards.

    • Control the weight as it returns overhead.
